As the time ticks and tocks to it, all my chances they seem gone - yet i know that there's a path if i take it for what it is, and every second that i waste is just a second i didn't taste the golden nectar of this god, oh my god...so you say it always feels so wrong, wonder where the happiness now resides? when you wake up and turn the brain switch off, open your heart and let in light. now i see the path was washed, abundant lightning so much rain, floods to drown all of the innocence, and left a heart with so much, the golden silence in these dreams with space between, the message spoke is never lost as long as i'm asleep - (guitar solo) - yet i know that there's a path if i take it for what it is, every second that i waste, is just a second i couldn't taste the sweetened fruit of nothing lost and no more gain, eternal dreams at freedom's cost, don't fall asleep when lights are on, the sun will shine forever
